Title: can you sell Petrified wood in Nsw ?

can you sell Petrified wood in Nsw ?
is there certain conditions ?
i was told untouched petrified wood goes for about $10 a Kg ?

You might note that North Wollongong beach is made up of pebbles many of which are petrified wood.  Wood also occurs in Kangaroo Valley and many areas of the state.  Very common and only of value if unusual and slabbed or slabbed cabbed and polished.  Most lapidary clubs have crates of it.
More interesting are petrified and agatized woods from Chinchilla area of Qld

Oh cool I was actually just wanting to use it in a garden at some point as it looks good.
