being soft easy to work why not just put 2 pieces together to get the thickness required?

in the late 70's there was a similar product made by I think named K-Tel or similar (older version of Kleva products).I had one and it worked, basically a rotary glass cutter.

Thanks for the welcome. Nice to be back in the game. Shame about the houses but progress? I suppose and thanks for the thunder egg update. Hoping to be up there around Xmas visiting the son and the old fruitbat (MIL)  ;D

Tell Us About Yourself / G'day

Hi all, I joined some time ago but just getting around to doing an intro.
Started in lapidary cutting cabs in 1974 and moved on to faceting a couple years later with a  borrowed machine and then 10 years ago with a MDR machine I bought from the wife's uncles estate. Been to a few places like Tomahawk Creek, The Willows and Rubyvale the jasper farm and a place out from Southport where you paid $5 and dug for geodes and found some good ones and a lot of crappy ones but until they are cut you don't know. Also spent time around Beechworth and other places in that locale. Also Andamooka and Coober Pedy with no joy though.
Just late last year decided to get back into it and got a couple saws from our sponsor and slowly relearning the craft.

I'll also say the same as mine turned up last week. I also bought the 4" as its a good size for some of the stuff I cut.
I'll get around to an intro soon.
