How to post Pictures & other FAQ / photo bucket hosting links gone
« on: September 27, 2017, 08:11:17 AM »
hi I thought I would let you all know that if you had linked photos from your photo bucket account to the forum the links are now broken and won't show those pictures anymore. I myself had to remove some of my missing links witch is a shame because the hosting service now wants people to pay for hosting images instead of being a free hosting service. and have cut most photo links just in case you we're wondering why.

« on: April 29, 2015, 02:56:26 PM »
hi all its been a while anyway heres my latest adventure we flew from vic to flinders island about 1 hour then got into a mini bus with 8 other people from diffret gem clubs of vic and went on our way to kilerkrankie bay where we stayed 5 days in a holiday house with fantastic views of mount kilerkrankie and the bay on the way there we pasted some old tin mines that now have been well over grown. the secound day we all got up at about 6am then at 7am low tide we walked about 3km to the fossicking area everyone but me just dug small pot holes but i dug a hole 2m long by 1m wide by half a meter deep for topaz its such a beautiful place well worth a visit anyway the 3rd day i contuned digging where i was and found some nice topaz to keep me digging at the same spot untill we had to leave on the 5th day all up i found 154 grams of topaz some good cutters in there too verry happy with the finds the weather was perfect it only turned shitty on our last day when we wore catching the plane back home a bit bummpy on the way back but appart from that it was great some of us dident find much topaz or had back proplems so becase i had enough to share i let the 7 people who wore staying with me in the holiday house pick a topaz bit out of my finds so everyone picked out the topaz they wanted they wore happy and so was i becase i had found enough to share with the people that hardly found anything the oldst on the trip was in his 80s and the youngest besides me was in his 50s
