Minerama Field Trip Survey 2
« on: February 09, 2012, 12:50:18 AM »
;D. Sorry you can't choose multiple answers...

Hopefully this will help minerama know what the average fossicker wants to find for next years field trips...  ;)

If there is something I didn't add that you want to find, make a mention, the more info, the better...  :D

Oooo, IF I could ever get there one day I would have to say a Torrington Emerald with those gorgeous bands. That would be the ultimate for me.  Droo
Oh and I'm not voting cos who knows when the opp would ever arise.  :-\

Oh bollocks, missed the friends one, well I reckon I can have special privileges to choose two.  :P

Oh you thought so eh, are saying I'm a sad case?  ;)

Nah, you find one make something spesh for Tigereye. Thanks for the thought.....nah stuff it, grab me a biggie from the museum, that'll do  Droo mwahaha.

Actually, there was a dealer came down for the Gemboree, think it was LA gems, he had some small ones in packets. So if he goes to the Min and you don't have any luck in the field you should be able to get a few.
Unfortunately I found him after I'd spent my 50 bucks  :(
Keep em comin!!!

I'm sure most fossickers would love to make friends and find stones, just can't get that option without making another survey... :-(

On another note, sorry to all those fluorite fans out there... I've just added it into the survey...

Hi Capt.
You might like to change the survey so that it allows more than one choice .... that way you can vote for your top 3?  Might give you a better picture ... sometimes it's hard to just pick one?
Regards, Paul

I am wondering if the person who wants to find black spinel has any size requirements. Because sitting here i counted 5 cottees bottles full of the stuff.

I would have loved to have done the survey like that woofa, but I couldn't find any options that would allow for that...? Only the ability to change an answer, no allowances for multiple answers...   :'(

It's not too obvious but the way to do it is to change the number of votes per user allowed .... if you change it to 3 then people can choose 3 of the options.  You can change this any time I think.

Tried to re-edit the poll, but it doesn't give that particular option...well at least now...
