New website for Burnie District Gem Club
« on: July 05, 2012, 11:55:15 AM »
Just thought I'd let everyone know that our club has a new website - still under construction but I think it's great.

http://www.burniedistrictgemstoneclub.com/

The new clubrooms are on the main road down to the west coast from Burnie, we may pick up a bit of interest from passing traffic/tourists.

Wow your new clubrooms are the whole hall? Looks great!! Will look forward to visiting to say hello when I come down to Tassie for a fossick.
Happy Fossicking from Chookie

Geology Rocks, I really dig it.
My rocks are gneiss, don’t take them for granite.

Yep Chookie the whole hall!  It was a little used community hall and they gave it to us for a good rate.  Only trouble is it's in a cold area at this time of year and heating could be an issue.  It was 3 degrees cooler there the other day than in Burnie on the coast.
