Buying a saw: comparison videos
« on: March 21, 2013, 07:24:41 AM »
Those of you who check our facebook page will already have noticed these videos but thought we would post them here as well just to try out the new version of the Media Gallery.

Andrew doesnt enjoy "starring" in these videos but it is useful to see these saws side by side as a comparison - particularly if you cannot visit the warehouse in person.

cheers
Leah

Great idea these videos Leah, especially useful to an alfer who's not tooled up & enjoys investigating the options before committing to buying in his retirement year...next year!
Keep them up. I'd like to see more in posts like this, not being a facebooker at all.
Cheers,
colza
I dig it.

Something went weird with the video links since we upgraded the gallery so posting the full Playlist here.  This Youtube playlist contains the 3 comparison videos (trim, medium and slab saws) as well as the a couple on the 7" tile saw:

Enjoy.  For some reason this thread seems to get spammers joining in but dont worry, they are soon spotted and deleted.

Cheers

thought you must have had another gallery update cos some of mine don't show beyond the thumbnail size.

I say Leah, looks like someone has been in to the system cos when I read the tags attached at the bottom(showing above the quick reply box) it's talking about porn pics etc. I reckon that might have something to do with your links not working. ;)
Keep em comin!!!

No - the tags were posted by one of the spammers and overlooked when deleting.  I have my settings set to show latest posts at the top and so I missed seeing them.  Most spammers dont bother adding those - it is all just in the signature so even though they didnt do anything, it is annoying.  Now deleted.

Yes - sorry, we lost a few photos during a gallery upgrade some time ago.  Please repost if you can.  Was only a few but dating back to the older ones.

Cheers
Leah

Thank you.

Our spam protection keeps most of it out but some do still slip through.

For some reason, this topic is the one they always post in.

Moderators will remove anything untoward but if you see something that should not be there, please report and someone will take care of it very quickly.

Cheers

Thanks Leah, your right about the occasional one slipping through, didn't realise that this subject was the one they targeted.  I usually do just report them but was curious about this one hence the translation.

Hi Leah,
I don't know much about "Tags" and was wondering if the "Tags" listed on this topic is creating problems as none of the names in the "Tags" section  are members? As Administrator you could remove them?

Very interesting. I like the way all those letters are back to front. Do I have to read it backwards, or do I need a mirror?
