Great Brett, I look forward to following your progress. My slab arrived today, but won't get to work on it til next week. Will study the slab for a few days for cabbing inspiration.

Thats awesome Brett!!!  ;D  How did it cut? Was it as I have described on eBay? I am sooo excited, it's like watching a baby taking it's first steps LOL.

I'm glad yours turned up today Jamo, what do you think of the slab (be honest).  It's going to be like a State of Origin (no pressure boys) LMAO

Can't wait for the follow up pics.

Cheers
Shaz

It's nice and hard to cut but there's the potential for a bit of undercutting with some quartz-like material.  I reckon it'll take an un-photographable shine. LOL

Being the completely dumb blonde that I am, is that good, bad or indifferent?  ???

It's all good Sharyn!  What matters on the end is thateople like the stone and in my experience the more vibrant and lustrous the better.  Your rough I reckon will have this in spades!!

Oh WOW Brett that is awesome..I just listed three slabs on eBay yesterday with your "Cabs in the making" so here is hoping that I get some interest.  Will have to revise it now to add this pic.  ;D
