ScottyB have a look here for Lyme disease http://www.lymedisease.org.au/about-lyme-disease/myths-surrounding-lyme-disease-in-australia/

Qld health fought the findings for years.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.

There was also an article on Catalyst recently about ticks potentially causing an allergy (life-threatening anaphylactic allergy) to red meat.  Had some good stuff about how to safely remove ticks.

I had several bites that went  bullseye and very hard and festy...eww. I never bothered getting diagnosed with Lyme and who knows as it mimics so many other disorders. I have a natural remidy for Lyme that kicks it.

Mushy India has soo many spun out crazy fire sleepers, snake, rat, self mutilation, sadduhs...one guy I saw roll up hIs penis with a stick and twist the bejesus outta it... :/

Hey Jimnyjerry thanks for the link.. :).my mate got bitten by ticks.. :(  covered in them he said about 100 bites >:( >:( >:( now 2 yrs later he is showing classic signs of lymes...he cannot find a doctor that will listen to him  or even do the basic tests... ANYONE know of a doctor on the gold coast or northern nsw that recognise this disease...no one on the gold coast that he has seen will.....
sorry scottyb for hijacking your post.... maybe we should go start another post but I don't know how to do that ??? ??? yet.. maybe Things That Ruin Your Day In The Bush could be a cool title..

Hey guys I'm in alstonville nsw. Really getting into this rock hounding stuff. Anyone close an want to maybe go scratching together I'm happy to. Have had any great finds yet more building my knowledge at this time. Thought I'd comment as seen the tintenbar opal mentioned an that's my love opal. Haven't found the actually black stuff it's self yet but some black/grey potch. Basically any1 that wants to jump in have look round together, never know our knowledge put together could be the keys
