Thanks Malach, I just put up a picture in gallery of fore that I'm working on. Wife picked up about 12 pieces I'm going to play with. Not sure the mines they came from but sure from US. Just like to see what yours look like, may want to get a couple.  ;D

I hope the weather is kind.  It is a bit far for me to travel from Brisvegas, although temperatures down your way are a bit more appealing than the 30 degree 98% humidity yesterday.

Hi guys, new to the forum. Did any of you manage to head out that way? We are thinking of taking a look at Easter. I am aware there are 8 sites, but am unable to find exact locations on a map and any advice on the best sites to visit would be greatly appreciated

Turquoise can still be found there but some sites have been well picked over. The best site was literally blown up about 25 years ago and little remains. Of the 8 known sites, 2 are on private property, one is blown up, and 5 are on public land. Also turquoise found at Greta South but this is private land and the landowner won't give access. Might be worth a look in the forest outside the property boundary though. Just check first because I am fairly sure the land is all under an Exploration Licence at the present time.
