Mining Claim - Sapphire/Rubyvale
« on: September 09, 2017, 05:43:50 PM »
G'day All.

My wife and I are hoping to buy a claim in the Rubyvale/Sapphire area.  I was wondering if anyone knew of, or may have, a claim for sale?

It will mostly be a hobby for us but we are hoping that we can get something that we can spend a few months there at a time.
Good claim with a bit of basic accommodation (or even a shed we can fix up).

We will be heading out to Rubyvale for a week in October.  I'm keen to find a few to have a look at.

Not scared of underground either.

Cheers

Chris

We are just back from Rubyvale.  There are a lot of claims for sale on the noticeboards outside the Post Office and also the Grocery Store at Rubyvale.   Also on the noticeboard outside the Trading Post at Sapphire.  Most have photos and details of what is included in the sale.  Problem might be that a lot of people have left for the Summer and won't be back until early next year when it gets a bit colder.

Thank-you Rosemart. I will definitely check them out.

Thanks Gemster. Will certainly do my due diligence on any claim we purchase.
Mining environmental regs can be tough to meet/maintain. Luckily I had a bit of experience working with them, so that may help.
Thanks for the heads up.

No worries. Hate to see anyone go through what Lefty went through... Might be different if you purchase a working lease... But to establish a new lease seems to be a nightmare...
