Of course you can Gemster  ;)

Got lots of positive feedback at Minerama so the word is getting out there. It helps having the magnetic signs on my Navara as many people came up to me asking for more info.  ;D

Heading down to Sydney this weekend again & will take a few posters with me so keep an eye out for them  ;)

Really well!  Checkout the Gemorama facebook page.  Some really lovely specimens found and hopefully more pics going up.  Lord T can fill you in more.

Very sad I couldn't get there either! :(

G'day Slippery,  beers

The weekend went off great thank you. We are already starting on next years trips so get the calendar marked  ;)  6 - 8th June 2020.

I didnt hear a bad comment from anyone that attended. In fact, almost every fossicker said they would be back next year.  :o

There was a stunning amount of quality mineral specimens found including galena, azurite, cerussite, malachite, copper, quartz & fluorite. Who knows what will be found next year but this site will be re-used again as everyone wanted to return.

The trip to Wellingrove Ck produces some small sapphires & zircons but not really in great numbers or quality. The scenery there is breathtaking & the drive challenging but everyone enjoyed themselves again.

Mondays trip was moved to Tingha due to the drought up here. Quite a haul of quartz points were found by everyone.

Dinners on Sat & Sun night were a huge success. Contrary to comments by those who said it'd be too cold  ::)  the fire pits kept the chill off & there was even impromptu fire & light stick twirling by a few ladies & gents.

Numbers were double from last year & the dealer that attended, Hoy Gold Sluices, had a great time & a few sales. I'm hoping other dealers will come next year as fossickers are always hungry for good deals. Bringing people in the off- season can only benefit the towns & villages to the area. I look forward to seeing more ALFers there next year.

Cheers,
Bob  beers
