opal doublet using JB-wuik

Has anybody used JB=kwik or Tite=on for making opal doublets. I have always used clear epoxy but was wondering how well the others would work.

Hi Rexl, sorry can't help with any information your question. Just wanted to ask you, where are you bought your tite=on from?  I thought  this product wasn't available any more in Australia.  Also the Tite=on I use for dopping stones for faceting is black so its possible its a different adhesive to what you have.    The stuff I have is over five years old and still work like a charm for my application.

Malachi, when your tite-on runs out other options are dextone and JB Kwik, both are black 5minute epoxies that work well.

I only mentioned tite-on because I used to use it. JB-Kwik man now. I was using clear araldite but it takes ages to set and I can't see why JB will not do the same thing.
