And fossickers will become rarely seen and an endangered species in Victoria.  :(
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.

To quote someone on facebook
"If there are groups or organisations going to these VEAC meetings (and I hope you are) please go as a group and meet them as a group not as individuals. You will be heard as a group like we did at Bendigo. We meet with 3 of their board members and it was chaired by their Chairperson Janine Haddow. We were the fist group as far as we know to voice our concerns and they did hear our side of the story. But did they listen, who knows ??? They did take notes.

They also said that they need as many submissions as possible from people voicing their concerns either positive or negative.
But you have to state why in your submissions. Not for it to just say I don't agree to more Parks. They want to know why and in what areas. This way they can pin point areas of concern. You have until the 31 Oct to put in a submission.

You have to supply name and contact details. veac@delwp.vic.gov.au "

 "Closing date extended for submissions
The closing date for submissions on the Central West Investigation Draft Proposals Paper has been extended from 31 October to Monday 10 December 2018, giving people more time to prepare a written submission.
The decision to provide extra time follows VEAC holding a number of well attended public dropā€in events throughout the investigation area in which community members requested more time to consider the information supplied and to develop their submissions.
All submissions will be taken into account in the preparation of VEAC's final recommendations which will be submitted to government in 2019.
