four wheel drive,agro.
« on: September 04, 2018, 12:16:34 PM »
i spend a lot of time driving on bush roads, looking for new fosicking spots. i drive a small 1995 mazda 121.im sick and tired of being tailgated by over sized, four wheel drives.they overtake on narrow bush dirt roads will, not move over they are often glued to their mobile phones.many have no though for other road users many like to over take,at road works just before the speed limits increase throwing stones everywhere which is not good for small cars like mine.i wonder what other people think.

Hi swirly I agree that there a lot of nut cases on the road but on the other hand I live in a gemstone area with a lot of tourists in winter and they will drive in the middle of the road at 20kph to busy looking around and talking to each other to notice other users on the road so been stuck behind these people can be quite frustrating  and unfortunately some people do get aggressive. Just my take on things. Dave

Happens all over.  Stay calm slow down and wait if they are ahead.  :)

As for stone spitters and over taking loons swear all you like if it reduces your stress in the vehicle as long as any passenger do not mind.  8)
You forgot to mention speed focused tunnel vision caravaners who do not believe in slowing when there is on coming traffic or overseas tourists.  ::)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.
