There was something on here a few months ago about Lamberts...

They have lost a few of their 'Cutters' and are having issues replacing them... If you search Lamberts you should find it....

I have the same problem Swirly, I sent an enquiry to them about a month ago and they informed me that they are still operating, but are six months behind in their cutting as they have lost a lot of cutters to other industry and and finding it hard to replace them, they assured me that they still had my samples and  will get to them asap

There is an email address on the correspondence you should have received when your stones arrived.  They were being responsive to that.  So email them and note they were sent last November and they should respond.

Let us know how you go!

I too, am waiting for sapphires which I mailed in January. I received an email in regard to losing master cutters and that my stones would take longer and in the meantime were safe.
I have emailed twice since for updates, but have had no replys.
Fingers crossed!

They have always been slow, how long have your stones been away?

I can assure you that they aren't scammers, they've been in the business for quite a while but as I mentioned are notoriously slow. Tailor Marc above just mentioned that he has waited for 8 months. I must admit though, that it's disappointing they haven't replied to your emails. All I can suggest is wait.

I have just recieved an email to say my stones are ready to send.
Coincidence?

Now I only have to wait for delivery.
Good luck to others who are waiting

Has anybody ever tried that bunch ( I guess there are more than one but one seems to stand out on  Google)) in Sri Lanka that advertizes online? I've always wondered why Lamberts seem to get all the business???
