Had 160 stones cut with them about 4 years back took about 3 months for stones to be returned which was fine. The quality of the cutting was good but my big problem was the designs they used was to produce the biggest stone as they get paid by the carat at the expense of colour and in sapphires colour counts end result half the stones look like crap and yes these were good stones in the rough not crap so I wouldn't use them again for good stones.Dave

I suppose that's the trade off, cheap but very likely lots of windowing and poor performance especially at low RI.

Actually, Makky, the parcel of small sapphires I sent to them (some time ago now) was returned with good meet points and no windowing. They were a lot cheaper then as well. Maybe I just caught a good cutter as then they had quite a few. Sapphireminer, did you ask them to cut as big a they could or did you request particular cuts as you can do both. I did request to cut as big as they could without calibration and was very happy with the results.

I did ask verbaly for good colour not weight but that was at gemfest  everyone was busy and I didnt get it put in writing so I guess some is on me but if you could see the end result you would know what I mean. Eg a 1 carat blue yellow shaped like a pear that has a small yellow band across the center and near black top and bottom some have more silk in them than than the silk road and yet I never sent any that had silk . But on the bright Eric who runs Lamberts in Bangkok is a very nice person and took
me for a tour of there jewellery making area in Bangkok when I showed at his office. Dave

Hi all
An update on my June 22nd post.
I sent my sapphires to Lamberts in January.
I received an email on June 22nd to say my stones were ready. I paid my invoice - have receipt. It is now August 2nd I still haven't received my cut sapphires. I have emailed twice, with no response. What are customers experience with slow postage from Lambert Industries?

ive been waiting nine months this time around still no stones. could have had a baby by now!

Yes Lamberts are usually  pretty quick, but I sent stones away November 2018 and have still not received them.

i got it the other way around. They sent an invoice for alot more that the cost and said it was because i didn't pay previous time. I sent all copies of receipts etc and they apologized and sent my stones i was waiting over 8 months no charge what the?
