Worn Out 8" Laps

I'm hoping to get a few old worn out 8" flat lap discs for a project that I'm working on atm, happy to pay postage

So what happens to diamond discs, don't they wear out or do you use them for something else ? Can you get them recoted ?

Melbourne diamond coating will replate your heavy laps, costs from memory (quite a while ago too) around $70,  the thin ones are not worthwhile to replate as you can replace them for under $20.
The reason you havent had any takers on the 8" laps is that they are not used by many people, the 6" are just so cheap.

What are the best places to buy the cheapo thin discs, atm this is for an experiment, not serious cabbing, just playing around
