Hogarth Range(Feldspar) and Ewingar(Smokey Quartz)

Regrettably unable to make it to the Lismore Show this weekend but visiting the district next week.Does anybody know if Steve still owns/allows access to his property at Hogarth Range to look for feldspar/labradorite? There was none to be found at Springsure last month on our way home from "The Willows"....On to Ewingar State Forest (with the required permits) for smokey quartz.Hoping it is not as wet as it has been here on the Sunshine?Coast for the last seven weeks.(.suitable for leeches,ticks and snakes ) Unable to find much info online for either of these two sites since 2017 so if anyone has any updates it would be greatly appreciated.

Ewingar, been coping a  fair hammering around the bridge, has not had a good flush in a while, you might be better off taking a hike into Rory's road. Three of us didn't find any decent smokey on Elkorn 6 weeks ago. sorry didn't read second part of message initially

Thank you Fossicker for the updates.We will try for Rorys Road.Ewingar Creek and maybe Hongkong Creek (Google Earth)if we can access them.Cheers .
