Faster ways to process wash
« on: June 25, 2023, 01:25:08 PM »
Hi all we have a question…
We currently use sieves shakers and a whilloughby. In the gemfields what faster ways can we adapt to process more soil. Remembering that we need to be mobile with nothing but a Ute.
What is the best way we can process more wash?

Depending on how you are set up a trommel might be better, especially if the wash is dry and doesn't clump. Or a bigger shaker. My 400x600mm shaker on a 3/4inch spring steel shaft driven into the ground so the shaker sprang back really nice when shaken. Worked well, and I still need to do a trip report :)
Cheers
