It sure is. I have the keys and a few more specimens here for you to collect, Capt'n.

I've just finished another Blog entry on "Quartz at Down the Hill Yarrow Creek" or something like that, for those who are interested.

Hi everyone. It's taken the best part of a week to get back on line with our new phone number, but here we are. We've settled in and unpacked boxes ad infinitum. The weather here in Lithgow has been much the same as in Glen Innes, so to that extent nothing has changed. No more Wednesday finds, though. Keep an eye on my blog for new developments!

John,
Great to hear that you arrived safely. Now the fun starts, unpacking and setting up a new home.

True. I thought burning coal in household fires was banned here these days. Not so - I could smell coal smoke last night and have seen piles of it in several backyards while driving around.
Hopefully we'll be out and about in a few more days.

The locals in Lithgow have a habit of using free coal to burn.  ;)
The greenies only get upset when they see clouds of white water vapour comming from power stations or if you burn native hollow logs  ;D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.

To whom it may concern,  Captain ;)

Are the Wednesday fossicking adventures still happening or do we have to make our own fun?
Marg and I were hoping to join the Wed 25th Sep group, if it is a goer.
We arrive in GI on Tues 24th Sep and leaving Mon 30th Sep.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Wayne.

What's the weather like up there at the moment Wayne? Last time I passed through Glen Innes around this time of year it was hovering around the -2 mark.

Looking forward to catching up in October and checking out your booty, gemstones that is, mind you, you do cut a fine figure in your wetsuit.

We are still on the Gold Coast until 24th Sept.

This was today's view at Surfers when I rode there this morning. It is forecast to reach 25degs.

Hoping to get trips happening soon, indemnity form is pretty much done, taking care of a few minor things like letter head and insurance etc... Once all that is sorted a visit to some of the property owners, and hopefully some new ones!

Will keep updates when I got something new...

Who here thinks Friday would be a better day for fossicking trips rather than a Wednesday?  ( might need to change the title ) :D

Hi Captain,

Any day will suit us.
From a very selfish point of view, I hope that you are up and going during our stay in September.
