October trip to Glen Innes from Canberra

Ok I have booked into Glen Innes for a week arriving Monday 1st October. Only 300kms from Murrurundai where I'm at for weekend family history get-to-gether.

Ok I'm making a list and checking it twice 
Monday - get to Glen Innes - setup etc.
Tuesday - poke around the tourist info centre and town
Wednesday - with Findem's Wednesday finds
Thursday - fossick
Friday - fossick
Saturday ...
Sunday ...
Monday drive half way home.

Will go to Emmaville/Torrington - have 4wd will travel.
Might poke around some of the other local creeks.
Tingha might be a go as well.
Do a couple of bush walks etc.

Any places that I really should go for a fossick?
