Home at last and looking at list of jobs to do around house. 

Had a great time catching up with people: Lord Thunda, Mr Sydney and Mal, Topsieve, Captn Mendossa, Philip and others.
Was on The Oban and Crossmaglen trips.
At Oban found a lot of large tourmaline, 2 very small sapphires, 3 small bits of topaz and clear quartz and smoky jelly beans and a large clear quartz lump with a few of the crystal faces.
Best at Crossmaglen was a 1.7 carat clean blue. Biggest was a 3 carat star. Buggered at end of day especially as I fell in collecting my shovel at the end of the day.

Hi Jerry,

I did get lucky at Crossmaglen then - that last piece I picked up with 1 minute to go was a 2.3 carat clear blue - though a bit elongated (I'll still get something out of it).  I also got a opaque blue bomb up the other end of the creek a bit over 5 carats but all that did was taunt me!
