Oil for a robilt saw

I have acquired a robilt saw. How much oil do I need to use. If it covers one inch of the bottom of the blade is that sufficient? Ican see it might take several litres.

You may not need a full inch at the bottom of the blade.  That may splash a bit more than is necessary.  How big is the saw?

I think it is 11.5inch diameter.

I'd say half an inch should be plenty.
