Yes - this is a glitch that I have not been able to pin down as yet.

I am planning to do another gallery upgrade (to next version) but this requires testing and much backing up so the forum will need to go down for maintenance for few hours.  Have not scheduled this job yet but hoping it will fix this problem and another with the drop down menu not dropping down

 Working on the issues,seems basically that ALF and Aussie Sapphire are just to popular 
 Looks like the Level of Traffic and information on the sites means yet another upgrade and more monthly costs for us but you guys are worth it
 Heading towards a stand alone server to handle the level of Traffic but still checking.

Hi Leah,

I have a question about the log-in process, when I log in I have to type my hole username and password which is quite a lengthy process, why does this site not have the same log-in abilities as other forums that I belong too? Where you type the first letter of your username and the whole thing comes up in a drop box that you click on and it installs your username and password automatically then you just click on the login button and it's done!!!
Or am I missing a process that activates this process on this forum???

If you are not on a shared computer, you can opt to login in "forever" so your login details are remembered and you are logged in automatically.

Maybe not a good idea if you share a computer with others who you do not want to post on your behalf but this is probably the easiest way.  Otherwise, set up your browser to autofill.

I'm still having a problem with the login process, even if I click on the "FOREVER" button it does'nt do a thing!! I still have to login  ever time I enter the site!!!

Yes - I think this would the place to look - your cookie settings. Computer needs to save just a small file to remember your login details and that you want to stay logged in. If you have your security settings so that this does NOT happen (which is sensible on shared computers), then it can override the choice you make by ticking the box when logging in.

Options are different depending on what browser you use, security software (firewall, anti-virus, etc) and what operating system.

The Media button has changed to be called Gallery instead.  It should be the 3rd button from the right when you are logged in. Get back to us if you need more help.

Should have looked here
