Today, we had our best day of fossicking ever.
We went fossicking with Jimmy - The Rock Doctor of Kununurra - he took Marg and I, actually, I took him, as we went in our Navara to the Waterloo Station in NT off the Duncan Road about 130 kms from Kununurra looking for Amethyst.

The photos are of our better bits, but we got about 3 times the amount that appear in the photos, Jimmy also took 2 bits of the good amethyst. We were fossicking for about 2.5 hours. I will take better photos when we get to the Gold Coast in August. I have packed away all the stones until we get to the Gold Coast, where Marg usually checks out everything that we have collected on our current trip.

The big bit in top right is over 1 foot long.
