Thanks Makky

I have decided to do P5 P6 P7 first and then go around the edge with the frosted facets P2 P3 P4 after I have polished 5, 6 and 7. I am doing a fair sized stone but the frosted facets are still getting lost, doing the frosted after everything is polished might make them easier to see. (I hope).

It's one of those rare bits of Quartz that is polishing nicely with diamond, fortunately, nice crisp facet edges might make the frosted easier to do (redo)

Looks good MB. I have cut frosted edge facets last before, getting the angle right from the start is a must. There is no depth in the facet to muck about with any angle changes.

Rusted I'd cut it as I sequenced it. Adjust facet proportion by eye if needed. Be gentle. I just cut the pav in quartz, looks good(like the diagram) except for one little incorrect angle slight over cut I couldn't be bothered fixing. Will upload a photo tomorrow.

My quartz wasn't behaving and orange peeled 3k on my split lap, so I used my secret weapon quartz pre-polish lap (Chinese 800# resin lap). Also cut P5, P6, P7 with it.
Hope yours turns out ok.

Fresh off the dop. I'll take a better pic later.  Changed the crown angles(C1 59.34 C2 54.28) a bit to generate more edge pattern at low RI. Not perfect but happy with how it turned out.
