Picked this rough up from a rock auction as part of a group. Initially thought it was only fit to fill potholes in the drive until I saw a faint flash of colour. Then I reallised what it was. SUNSTONE

Rough

Polished freeform cab (double sided)   Very difficult to get a good pic of the colour play in the stone

Hello All,
I have never posted anything other than a normal letter so let me know if I mess this up.  Thought I should submit an entry to support the comp.  Not sure if it meets the rules but here it is (I hope). Thunderegg cab from Mt. Hope.  Nice colours even though it has a couple of small defects.
I couldn't work out how to put a thumbnail here... more research needed obviously. No, just worked it out.

Here are a couple I knocked up at the club yesterday.  :D I hope there suitable; I sure need to do a course in gemstone photography .   ::) ;) The first is a turquoise I picked up at the Horsham Gemboree and the second is Nephrite Jade I picked up from a garage sale recently.
