Back o' Bourke Fossicking Trip

Hi all,


Am combining fossicking & sightseeing 15 November to roughly 29 November staying @ Nyngan, Bourke, White Cliffs, Broken Hill, then Cobar & Dubbo on the return trip.


Have looked @ previous forums but any suggestions for fosscking locations appreciated, thanks.

Sorry have not been out that way fossicking yet. 
The guys I know who used to mine at White Cliffs would not consider going there in summer.  They do not even go to the Ridge that time of year.
Only thing I would suggest are some of the mineral collections at Broken Hill.
Enjoy but carry plenty of water and sun cream.

It's an Indian summer & glorious out west @ the time I'm going out, having lived out there for several years in the 70s. You wouldn't want to be there around Christmas & January especially.




Besides the weather has anyone got any fossicking recommendations for me?
