To lazy to dig 2
« on: September 19, 2011, 02:53:39 PM »
Being a naturally lazy bloke I decided to buy a 20kg bag of dirt while we were shopping at Mt Surprise Gems. I have just finished sieving and this is the result.
All look eye clear and most have some blue colour. I didn't even get a blister.

Nice little return from a bag of 20kg. Well done.  Still nothing beats finding them from your own hole I reckon.

Rusty I am lazy and prefer to cut rather than dig so this is my best option.

I'm with Rusty. Spending the time & effort to dig is all part of the reward. When you find something really good, then it makes it extra special  ;D. Although ... at the moment I have a chest infection and would be happy to buy a bag of wash as a second best option! Come back good health!  :-\
Baaa humbug, not enough fossicking time!

I love to get out and have a scratch but it's not often I get the opportunity. Whether I find something or not doesn't really matter because I got away from the house!
I end up doing more fossicking on the internet than in the bush!

that is the beauty of this hobby - there are lots of different ways to have fun with it.

Enjoy your finds Nick - I am sure they will cut beautifully.

Those who are out working up a sweat with the pick and shovel, tell us all about it.  We enjoy hearing about your best finds as well.

cheers
Leah
