Faceting rough
« on: October 21, 2019, 05:39:55 PM »
Just need some help on faceting rough.
I don’t normally bother cutting stones from natural material, but I need to know where to get some Labradorite.
Thanks.

See how your ebay stuff looks, I have a few bags of Hogarth Range Labradorite, so if you're needing more let me know what sort of size you're after.

Hi Frank,

My daughter has a piece of yellow Labadorite (Felspar) that hasbeen faceted and it looks quite pretty? The Americans call it Sun Stone so we allowed all variations of Felspar.

Regards
Gordon
Yours Sincerely

Got it today. Very rough on the outside, so will polish a couple of windows on it to look for flaws before cutting.
