Opalized Wood

Hi,

I have a questions for a very nice opalized woods i Buy. They are mined before 30 years.

The Problem is i dont know the exact location. Maybe somebody have Seen it before?!?!

I Cut a few of the roughs and they are Really Great. The are all White woods.

I don't think it's Australian, Most Australian precious Opal is from marine sediments so we get opalised fossils of shells and marine creatures, there's even a beautifuly opalised Icthyosaurus in the South australian museum.

We do have deposits of Opalised wood but they are common opal, not precious opal.

I think I have seen opalised wood in USA forums.

there are some opalised wood that comes from Andamooka most does not have color but there are some pieces that are full of color but I wood not cut it better left to look at but thats me, if you can find some it would not be cheap.
