Welcome. You could also try asking your question on the "Rock Tumbling Hobby " forum.
https://forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/

It's a US forum but boy they love tumbling rocks.

Hi and welcome. I have the Lorton 33b model and it is a very capable unit. I use it to tumble all my offcuts and finds.

The 33B is a great option but unfortunately we (Aussie Sapphire) and other Australian dealers have run out of this model.  Due to covid19 factory shutdowns in the US, Lortone were only able to supply half of our last order and have made little progress on our current order (placed immediately when we got our previous order).

To date, they have been unable to tell us when they can supply more stock (has been on order for at least 3 months).

So doesnt look like we will get more 33B's any time soon.  Getting low on all other models as well but not quite run out.

We will give updates on our facebook page when we know more about ETA.

The 45C is a good tumbler with a bit larger capacity than the 3A but is only a single barrel tumbler.  All comes down to what size batch and up to what size rock you want to tumble.

Cheers

Winston  I have the Lorton 33B and have had no trouble with it for  past ten years, I have this model as I also do Silversmithing and use one barrel of rock off cuts and the other for burnishing the silver.

Anything from China is taking a very long time atm. I have had aliexpress parcels sent E-Packet take almost 4 months to arrive recently. I would be hunting around for local stock.

I think the 45C would be pretty good, I use the barrels on the tumbler I build.CheersMB
