I just ran across the old Ewingar Info topic and thought someone might be interested in the type of crystals that can be found there. This one was found a few years back when I tagged along on a Grafton Club trip. Hi Taz,
Very nice ... I haven't been there yet but hope to get there one day.
Regards, Paul

very nice! I'd love to go there, but I've heard they have leeches, and I'm not really a fan of leeches...

Why is this page all squished into the left hand column for reading replies. :-\
Insert creepy music.
That was a bit weird - was a double tag - one for image and one for gallery photo - must have gone wonky with both in there for some reason. When I edited it to just use the Media Gallery tags, everything went back to normal.
cheers

I've found more leeches in Frazer and Wellingrove Creeks but maybe they were just having a day off when I went there.

I'll have to get around to photographing my calcite crystal one day, it's two to three times that size. Found it and many others about 40 years ago in the basalt cliff faces in the Lockyer Valley at the Cunningham Gap end of the valley.

Me too. :)
Have thought of it often but I am always heading somewhere else. :(
Best to go there with a buddy for back up. (banjo music drifts in .. )
