Hello All,
As most would know, we are in the middle of our coldest weather here now, so we are taking just a few days off to make the most of the last week of school hols and escape the cold brrr
It is also a bit of a birthday bash for Patrick who turns 16 tomorrow. We are so proud of Pat and Angus who help us lots and are growing up into great young men so we dont want to miss these opportunities to spend some quality time together.
Therefore, we will be able to ship orders received up until Wednesday morning (10th July) and then will be away from the office Thursday, Friday and Monday. We will resume normal shipping Monday afternoon (posting in the order they are received). Due to the volume of orders we normally receive, some orders may not ship until Tuesday (16th July).
We will be checking email from time to time but will reply to enquiries when we get back to the office.
We'll be staying at Tweed Heads - I am not very familiar with the area so if anyone has recommendations for good on-shore fishing spots (we wont have our river boat) or off-shore charters, please let me know. We only have a limited time to get some fishing in so any recommendations would be gratefully received.
Apologies for this short interruption to our normal operations but family is our first priority. Customers are really important to us always but family is too so this is just a short break to re-charge the batteries.

Thanks for all the good wishes - we're just about organised to go (hopefully by this time on Wednesday, we'll be almost ready to check out the ocean view.
Patrick's official birthday was today and it has started off well.
Presents were a hit and we did the knowledge test for his learners drivers licence this morning - passed and did the first practice run with L plates on - we both survived 8) only 120 hours to go :o

Oh dear, I know what it's like trying to get those learner driving hours up. Imagine living in a town that is only 5km across ... many circuits around the perimetre.
Anyway, happy birthday to Patrick and have a great holiday. The bow tie is an excellent fashion item for any century (or millenium in the case of Dr Who)!

Hope you had a great Birthday Patrick. Congrats on the 'L's, don't get frazzled which means mum and dad wont get frazzled either.
I thought 50 hours x 3 kids was enough!
Have a great break and hopefully someone will come up with some good spots for you to throw in a line.

Just some advance notice of our holiday plans:
Aussie Sapphire will be closed from Saturday 21st September until Sunday 29th September. We'll be posting an update on this closer to the time but just giving the travellers some advance warning of our movements.
Pretty busy over the next few weeks with lots of sporting commitments (various soccer carnivals, tennis and athletics competitions for Angus) and our auction sale on the 15th September so if you are passing through Glen Innes and would like to call in to the warehouse for a visit, we STRONGLY recommend giving us a call first to make sure we are here.
We are here most days but if you just call in "on spec", there is the risk that the doors will be closed while we are out on other jobs. Then we have a week off at the beach to try and catch our breath after running around like crazy for the next few weeks. No posting of parcels during this week (21 to 28/9/13) - we are answering emails as usual but urgent orders should be placed prior to the 21st of September.
