Post by: ZipZip on January 11, 2018, 07:19:48 AM
I will be heading out to Cloncurry Qld in May.  Does anyone know the latest on Amethyst Castle?  Is it open and who do you contact?  Thanks in advance.

HI ZZ, If you are interested in other than just amethyst, there used to be a locally produced book called Cloncurry Trails which has sightseeing locations, but also some fossicking areas.
You might try Information Centres for the book.
Good luck and let us know how you go.
Regards
