Title: Where to buy a pendant setting?
Post by: mitchjbrown11 on October 08, 2020, 06:00:08 PM
Hi Everyone, can anyone suggest a website or company that I can buy a pendant setting from?

I have never set stones into a pendant setting before, I would appreciate any recommendations to help me out :) I prefer the supplier to be in Australia but am willing to buy from overseas if its recommended.

I have a round cut in mind, but if anyone has a cut that would really suit a amethyst in a pendant I would love to hear it, as I am a newbie and not overly familiar alot of the designs out there

It is a an amethyst 48ct, 17x27x15mm. See video of stone for reference

Thanks in advance too :)

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm located in Tassie and as such have to generally deal via the internet. Here's a few to start with, I have dealt with Palloys and Riogrande before, they are very proffesional and easy to deal with. https://www.riogrande.com/, https://koodak.com.au/, https://www.palloys.com/
If you live in Melbourne or Adelaide, when you can get out, check out Australian Jewellery Supplies https://www.jewellerssupplies.com.au/, they have a good range of stuff, not sure if they have commercial settings and findings though, might be worth a phone call at least. Good luck with it.
