Sorry quote from the Castle was the first thing that came to mind when I noticed this not so gemmy gemmasta. Nice water tank :). If you were is Alice it might be worth a couple of hundred, then refubish. Just hope a newbie doesn't buy it.

I had the the guy send me a video of it runing last week, the motor is really noisey.

It reminds me of a machine that was forsale sometime ago in Darwin $500 including other gemmasta machines. Might be the same one, the mast looks rusty, hand piece rubber disintegrating. It might not have had a lot of use just left sitting for years in a humid environment. You could probably put a chinese motor/pwm speed controllers on it for a couple of hundred. Be ok if you could get it cheap enough and fully rebuild.
