Bullock Mountain Homestead at Glen Innes, Reddestone Creek.
Bullock Mountain Homestead is a great place for those wanting an adventure experience.  Home of the famous Pub Crawls on Horseback, Bullock Mountain Homestead offers you horse riding, bushwalking, birdwatching, camping or homestead-stay accommodation in a relaxed bush atmosphere.

Location:  Turn right 4km from Glen Innes onto Bullock Mountain Road off the Emmaville Road.  Follow signs to Bullock Mountain Homestead and Pub Crawls on Horseback, 12 kms.  Go past two other properties on this all weather gravel road which also allow fossicking. Very convenient to town.
Possible Finds: Sapphire, zircon, black spinel, quartz
Notes:   The Fossicking Park is great for those wishing to learn to fossick with buckets of wash from a disused mine.  Small finds are usually made in this wash and occasionally a larger stone may be found.  An ideal experience before trying your luck in the Reddestone Creek.
Charge:  $15 per single or couple for a bucket of wash, sieves and lessons or  $20 for a family of 4.  Extra wash $15, extra sieves $5 per set.  Fossicking in the creek from $10 per couple per day (with your own gear).
Contact: Steve and Alison Wood on (02) 6732 1599 or see their website for more information.  Recommended to phone ahead for accommodation and activities
Facilities:  Self contained caravan accommodation.  B&B or all meals for singles, couples and families in Bunkhouse.  BBQ and toilets for use also by day visitors.  Limited equipment may be hired (charge applies).
