Whats this Machine?

Aussie Sapphire:

 One for you to Guess,what is this machine and whats it do?
 We use it in Sapphire Mining operation, the unit costs about $30,000 last I checked.

I reckon that's a magnetic separator to pull all of the ironstone out of the wash.

If only there was one for black spinel as well....   ;)

 Yes its a Magnetic seperator,without it life as a miner would be a even bigger hell then it already is ::)
 It has a rare earth magnet on the left and simply uses gravity to seperate magnetic from non magnetic. A vary speed and adjustable blades adjust the unit. It does take out 95% of the Black Spinel/Ironstone out of the Sapphire but like Calx I wish it would take ironstone out of the remaining Black Spinel. Anyway they recon sitting and grading stone by hand is soothing ::)
