Three Waters

The "Three Waters" property provides access to the Reddestone Creek for fossicking. To get there go 4km along Emmaville Rd then turn right onto Bullock Mountain Rd. 9km along this road turn left at the "Three Waters" sign. This property is on the same road as the Boolabinda & Bullock Mountain properties. The GPS coords for the fossicking site on Reddestone Creek are 6723451N 56376870E (WGS84).

The fee for fossicking is $8 per person per day. The property has excellent facilities and you can camp there or stay in a cabin. For more info here's a link to their web site .... www.gleninnes.com/3waters/

Reddestone Creek has been commercially mined so to have any success you need to try to figure out where the miners may have missed. You can dig in the creek or in the gullies leading to the creek. If you dig away from the creek the ground is hard and you need to use a pick & shovel and then carry the wash to the creek for wet sieving. The owner (Steve) told me that he was considering getting a machine in to dig up one of the gullies to make life a lot easier for the fossickers .... I don't know if he has done this yet but if he does it would really help
