all I want is a Pelican Pick...

...but nobody stocks them.  Not Miners, Den, Bunnings, Home Hardware, nor anybody else that I have contacted locally.

So sad.

Nothing at all - it's just trying to find somebody that stocks it!

I rung around locally and the only suggestion I got was to call Cyclone and see if they can suggest a distributor that might have them in stock.  Apparently Pelican hunting isn't all that popular these days.

There is a cyclone one on ebay in Sydney at Minto.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.

The two sites I suggested list the Cyclone model but it seems it may be a challenge finding someone who actually has it in stock - they were a couple that looked worth checking directly with.  I did not see the Ebay one so good pickup Jerry - that looks to be the simplest solution.

That is one of my real bugbears about some online sellers - very easy just to list the complete catalogue of all of your suppliers but if you dont indicate what you have in stock now and what items are going to be difficult to source OR if you are simply drop-shipping from the factory, that can be really frustrating for buyers and is not really playing on a level field with those stockists who actually invest real money in keeping stock on the shelf.

Slight whinge over - good luck with the search Calx.  I had not heard of the Pelican Pick until you mentioned it but they look quite useful.

That probably explains why there's none down here!  Nobody has them in the hardware stores, nor camping goods, nor 4wd equipment, nor gardening.
