Thanks Jerry.  Hope your hip is OK.  A walking stick always comes in useful to whack snakes ;D  Have fun next week.
Regards, Paul

Or Bambam if he gets to close to my sapphires  ;D ;D ;D

Hip seems better, will be testing it digging thunder eggs at Boggabri before I get to MM.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.

As for a snake wacker.

2 pieces of heavy gauge (1cm diam) fencing wire 1 m long that are connected by an eyelet loop.  --------oo---------o

When wacking the end that hits the snake impacts horizontal to the ground.  End up with a very dead snake.

I prefer to keep clear or walk around snakes if they let me.

Remember one that kept coming down for a drink to a hole I was digging as I had struck water.  I just stepped back and waited.  Only found out later it was poisonous. :o

Also shared the hole with a few varieties of wasp.  ;D

Do you reckon a wasp could get through 3xpairs of boxers? ???
Does two pairs of overalls and one pair of budgie smugglers work as well ;D?
