Here is a Gemology Online discussion about the #600 watercutter Diastik.
Cuts as fast as a new plated, but with a finish like a sintered.
The only product I make with a Warning Label, though.  You do have to keep things neat and clean to avoid contamination.  Ypu do not want a piece of #600 taking a ride on the dop or quill and getting to the polishing lap!

Notice it was a SHORT phone call.
My dealers are too busy to talk to me for long, so here I am going to the other side of the Earth to find out what's going on in Tucson.

Because Australia has tremendous natural mineral and gem resources.  People can go out and dig their own rough! I read about it here all the time, and get jealous.

Sure wish I could today, Klingon.  We have a blizzard coming, and I will certainly be shut down for a few days-Right in the middle of the Tucson Show.  Got some shipments out in a hurry yesterday hoping to get everything in the air before the Air Transport System shuts down today.

Then I read about record heat Down Under.
We will be getting up to 30" of snow, with wind gusts to 55 MPH.  I have enough generating capacity to keep the house going, 4.5 KW but not the business, and nothing is going to be moving in or out of here for a few days anyway.
Got a widow next door, so have two driveways to do, too.

Rather be making laps, any day.

It was the Matrixes that seemed to be the hot news this year.  On 5 February I had to Priority ship another box of them, and they sold out again, and on the 7th, had to ship another carton.

This baffles me, because they are so new there really has not been time to advertise them.  It's a funny business.  We never know what will happen, and it's impossible to predict.

I got chatting to cutters in the US and they noticed my duo laps(cu/tin) had a groove separating the metals eliminating a crossover zone were the lap would be little worn compared to the rest of the lap.
I can run a facet right to the edge and even slightly over too keep the track perfectly flat.
As Dalan(A tall Texan faceting Guru)if enough call about this change will happen. Its not  a critsism as I had to make this change as well when Debbie at Glenn Innes sudjested this and it has worked for the better.
