Wire Wrapping Techniques
« on: May 04, 2009, 08:38:07 PM »
Wire wrapping is a good way to get started in jewellery making without having to buy a lot of equipment and is a great way to use all those tumbled rocks out of the tumbler.

Here are some links to help you get some ideas:

Wire Wrapped Cab (instructions also work for tumbled stones) from About.com

This blog  (http://www.online-wire-wrapping-instructions.com/)  has some tips and free projects:
Free Spiral Hook Tutorial
How to wire wrap leather ends

Lots more out there if you spend a bit of time on Google and the like as well as a multitude of books showing you more.

cheers
Leah

Thanks Leah,

These sites are great, I plan on learning how to wire wrap when I get the chance, Craig also wants to learn this, so when I get the supplies I need, I have to get 2 of everything  :o

At least when I do start I can refer to this topic for how to do it urls.

Take Care,
Deb  ;D
Ron and I have an Appointment to do some Laps ;) ;D
