Anzac Day finds:)
« on: April 26, 2013, 07:26:42 AM »
Love this one

This is the other side of it

It's not the size that matters  ;)

Now I have to work out how to cut these ones LOL, they are against a 4x4 tyre for comparison.

Thinking I might get hubby to scratch me out a bit of a hole with the backhoe on the weekend  ;D

Geology Rocks, I really dig it.
My rocks are gneiss, don’t take them for granite.

Amazing rocks Sharyn. :)

Nearest thundereggs to me is about 450km and not as pretty as these. Would have to double that distance to get to where you are.

Quads and a backhoe, wow.  I'll go the quad, not sure I can pull a backhoe.  But if Jamo. Fullerton and myself ever get out your way we could see if we could move it.

Keep the pictures and finds coming
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.

Nice finds the one on the bottom i like best .seeing you have a backhoe dig a bit deeper the ryholite on the thunder eggs may not be so weathered ,cant wait to see what you get next.

Backhoe is my Father in laws but it lives here, we've only got a bobcat & excavator plus the three quads and the buggy  :P

Sounds better all the time Sharyn. You've got some serious digging equipment there. ;D

Perhaps you could promise hubby a favorite meal in return for a 'little' digging on his part. Or ... you could get him to catch the fossicking bug and it won't take any bribing. Still trying to get my wife to catch the bug ... unsuccessfully to date  :'(

Well done yesterday. Heading out tomorrow myself ... on the topaz trail (I hope!)
Baaa humbug, not enough fossicking time!
