Aster gems cutting
« on: September 04, 2013, 10:49:11 AM »
I thought Id show off some of the sample pieces I sent to Aster gems too show you what kind of job they do,Im fairly happy with them If I was going to complain about anything It would only be that some of the girdles werent quite even and I got back two garnets which arent in the picture that are rejects which I will adress with them. For the price and the cut designs I think it was pretty good for around $300 to cut them all and all postage and customs costs.Stones that are pictured  are;2 Clonncury garnets,! harts range garnet ,harts range zircon,Harts range green and yellow beryl,Prehnite from wave hill ,iolite from mt isa and Kuridala amethst. The largest in the pic stone is 12 carats. The pic is in my media folder as it wont work here

The stones look very impressive Toppster, I like the variety of cuts they've done for you.
Did you choose the cut designs or did Aster use best cut to get maximum yield? Droo

Regards
Mario.S.  :) :) beers
