hey all
i was looking on one of the other forums i visit and found this:-

very nice. I do like the look of Damascus steel, and it is harder then normal steel.
I agree, too good to use on rocks.

The pattern that comes from the damascus is also replicated in mokume gane using blends of coloured gold or gold/silver or silver/copper.
