How do I upload a 2MB PDF file?

Hi,
I've got a 2MB PDF file that I'd like to share.  How can I do that?  It's too big for an attachment and the gallery won't accept it as a "picture".

I guess it could go where the Minerama .pdf book files are.
I would expect things like this to appear when you click on "Downloads", but they don't. Could it be arranged so that they do, as it's the most obvious place to look for them? In fact, I don't know how anyone could find them without the link being provided.

This is because I set up the Downloads feature after we did the Minerama books - it is an additional mod that had to be added to the forum software.  I have not had a chance to go back and add this type of thing to the Downloads section. 

It got dropped off the list as not urgent but I can bump it up higher if you want - perhaps after Minerama though as lots on this weekend - the forum is not my paying job
