Thanks Alleycat it was a pleasure for me to be able to set up an opportunity for us Alfers to get together and enjoy some time out fossicking.  I too will look forward to any get together any time anywhere.

RH, I wish I had thought of taking a picture of you collecting the fly poo sized garnets with your shovel; you looked like you were having a lot fun.     It was certainly an interesting alternative technique. One I’ll have to remember if I leave home without my sieves.

It was a great weekend, most enable. Got a few bits to show for it and renewed some acquaintances.  Pegatha found a great campsite which I will be certain to visit again. Is was good to join her, Ranger Itchy & Knight67 around the campfire.

Can't take the credit for the campsite It was Ranger Itchy who found it. But it is a good one. The campfire was great just as I like it good food, good friends, and the peace of the bush. Pegatha
