This beauty is 8.5 carats - not bad for 30 minutes work.

We have been there a few times and found nothing, but it was fun. Hot in the summer.

A mate of mine who is American has been here and told me about this place. He told me is very well set up and they will buy your finds from you if you want to sell them or they will cut the stones for you. Very cheap to go to for the day also. He told me about other spots in the US that a really good to go to and very family orientated. Wish Australia would open up fossicking spots like this.
